First identify where the failure occurred
- Not submitted: a wallet pre-check warning is not an on-chain failure receipt.
- Submitted but unresolved: look up the hash and wait for a final result.
- Confirmed failure: inspect the reason and recorded resource charges before another attempt.
The USDT amount is not the network fee
A contract can fail to complete the intended transfer after execution has begun. Inspect the token transfer records and balances separately from Energy, Bandwidth, and TRX charges. Do not interpret the rental payment as part of a single USDT “refund.”
A rental is a separate transaction
Successful resource delivery is not automatically undone because a later USDT transfer fails. Failure also does not restart the one-hour rental period. A disputed rental should be checked using its own payment hash and delivery information.
Retry only after fixing the cause
Confirm the previous transfer did not succeed, resolve the error, and inspect remaining resources. You may still have usable Energy; you may instead need to resolve a fee-limit or wallet issue. Repeating the same action without checking can add another charge.
Frequently asked questions
Will OUT_OF_ENERGY return everything it used?
Do not assume that. Review the receipt for the consumed resources and the current available balance.
What should I send to support?
For a rental question, provide the payer address and rental payment hash. Include the failed USDT transaction hash separately; never send recovery secrets.
