Choose for the destination you will actually pay
- Recipient already holds USDT: 65,000 Energy for 2 TRX.
- Recipient has no USDT: 131,000 Energy for 4 TRX.
Check the current TRC20 USDT balance on TRON. A TRX balance, a token with a similar name, or USDT held on another network does not answer this question.
Why guides mention 65K, 130K, or 131K
Rounded consumption estimates and purchasable package sizes are not interchangeable. Different guides may also describe different network conditions. Use this site’s package guidance together with your wallet’s estimate for the transaction, rather than choosing solely from a number in a search result.
An empty USDT balance is not necessarily a new account
An address may have received USDT before and then sent it all away. It may also be activated and hold TRX while its USDT balance is zero. Check the current token balance, not the age of the account.
Do not treat 131K as a guaranteed two-transfer pass
One transfer to a zero-USDT destination may need the larger amount. Other transactions reduce the remaining resources too. Before another send, check available Energy, the next recipient, and the one-hour rental window.
Frequently asked questions
Does a larger USDT amount always need more Energy?
Energy is not charged as a fixed percentage of the token amount. Contract execution and address state matter.
What if the wallet estimates more than my package?
Stop and review the transaction conditions. Do not assume that buying a named package overrides a higher execution requirement.
