Short answer: Bandwidth accounts for transaction data; Energy accounts for smart-contract computation. A regular TRX transfer uses Bandwidth, while sending USDT TRC20 also executes a contract and needs Energy.

Two resources, two different jobs

A wallet can show available Bandwidth while still lacking the Energy needed for USDT. Having plenty of one does not automatically cover a shortage of the other. Read the separate resource estimates instead of looking for a single “gas balance.”

Why a transfer can still burn TRX

Energy rental covers the resources supplied by that rental, not every possible charge. A remaining Energy shortfall or a Bandwidth charge can still affect the TRX balance. The rental’s TRX payment also has its own resource cost, separate from the later USDT transaction.

Where to check

Use the site checker for currently available Energy, TRX, and TRC20 USDT balances. For Bandwidth and detailed charges, inspect your wallet’s resource view or the transaction receipt on TRONSCAN. A historical delegation amount is not the same as the current available balance.

What trxPay.io provides

The current service rents Energy. It does not offer a Bandwidth rental package. Do not apply another provider’s combined-resource pricing to this site.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Energy just to send TRX?

A regular native TRX transfer does not execute the USDT contract. Do not automatically apply a USDT Energy package to that operation.

Can I send USDT without burning TRX?

Enough available resources can cover the relevant network costs, but check the wallet estimate and account conditions before sending.
